For the week of Jan 10-16

What did I learn last week?
  1. What did I learn last week? I learned about the importance of writing a good deed of trust, and then reading it in great detail before taking someone to court over a violation of that deed of trust.
  2. What was my greatest accomplishment over the past week? I made it through the entirety of my to-do list!
  3. Which moment from last week was the most memorable and why? At the board retreat on Saturday, a board member insisted that I must stay when my contract is up. It means I am doing well in this position, and people are impressed with it. I was very pleased with myself afterward.
  4. What’s the #1 thing I need to accomplish this week? Getting these rejection letters sent. It is the worst part of the job,
  5. What can I do right now to make the week less stressful? Call Liz Reese today.
  6. What have I struggled with in the past that might also affect the upcoming week? Self Direction. There is so much to do, but I can't get it organized in my head quite yet.
  7. What was last week’s biggest time sink? Tuesday. That will not happen again.
  8. Am I carrying any excess baggage into the week that can be dropped? Yep. Letting go of the things I can't control, and delaying my personal immediate happiness for the sake of a better life in the end.
  9. What have I been avoiding that needs to get done? At work: rejection letters & website materials. At home: vaccuuming ladybugs & cleaning the closet.
  10. What opportunities are still on the table? We're prepping to prescreen a lot of families this weekend. This is a huge opportunity for the organization in terms of families served.
  11. Is there anyone I’ve been meaning to talk to? Liz Reese
  12. Is there anyone that deserves a big ‘Thank You’? Liz Reese
  13. How can I help someone else this coming week? I am not sure yet, but I am sure it will happen.
  14. What are my top 3 goals for the next 3 years? a) Have a fantastic, stable job. b) lose at least 25 more pounds c) Live in the same city as B
  15. Have any of my recent actions moved me closer to my goals? The way I have been working recently will most definitely affect the first. I have also been working out regularly again for the last two weeks.
  16. What’s the next step for each goal? a) Keep being a rockstar at work. b) get my eating under control c) I have no idea.
  17. What am I looking forward to during the upcoming week? The Community Partners Meeting on Thursday. It will be a great time to do some much needed networking.
  18. What are my fears? That I am barely scraping by personally and professionally. I'm fearful that things won't work out for me. It's kind of overwhelming at times, but I am actively looking for ways to stop feeling that way.
  19. What am I most grateful for? My health, my job, my friends.
  20. If I knew I only had one week to live, who would I spend my time with? B
  21. Who can I inspire this week? I am not sure.
  22. Did I tell the people in my life how much they mean to me? Yes, I did.
  23. Did I make a difference with someone? Based on the acceptance of a new partner family, I'd say yes.
  24. Have I done something creative this week? Yes. Writing letters and making forms use a certain type of creativity. It wasn't painting, but it was fun.
  25. What did I stand for last week? Honesty above everything.
  26. What will I stand for this week? Honesty and dependability
  27. Are my motives questionable? No.
